Where we cover
We Have provided Inter-facility Transport from all local hospital in our region including Davis Medical Center at Elkins, Broaddus Hospital in Philippi, and St Josephs in Buckhannon. We have transported patients from our local hospital to all surrounding states. We frequently transport patient to Morgantown to WVU Hospital and Mon General Hospital, To CAMC, to UPMC in Pittsburg. Occasionally will we transport patients from an out of state hospital or out of region hospital back to our area. We provide three levels of Inter-facility transports
BLS - Basic Life Support
An EMTs - Emergency Medical Technician &
An EVO - Emergency Vehicle Operator.
This type of service is needed when a patient is stable, requires no cardiac monitoring, can have a Saline lock and may or may not have oxygen.
ALS - Advanced Life Support
A Paramedic and an EVO
This type of service is needed when a patient may be on maintenance IV fluid, oxygen and may require cardiac monitoring. They can also transport patients with Foley catheters and limited medications, as well as those requiring advanced cardiac life support.
C3IFT - Class 3 Interfacility Transport
A specially trained Paramedic and an EVO
This service is needed when a patient requires monitoring and certain medications, blood/blood products/may have chest tubes, tracheostomies, Foley catheters and/or central lines/PICC lines.
